House Highstorm of the Highridge is a noble house from the Stormlands sworn to both House Baratheon of Storm's End and House Harrigon. They are considered House Harrigon's most loyal vassal house behind House Farrington and House Droft. Their words are We See the Path.
History
House Highstorm is descended from bastardry, founded by Ser Urron Highstorm, the son of Ser Ronnis Storm, a bastard son of Lord Hostorren Harrigon. Having much wealth at his disposal, he was able to purchase lands in the Stormlands close by to where Hornworth was. Being so close to Hornworth, Urron began sending wrongdoers and able bodied men to his grandfathers castle, where they were trained to work beneath the castle in it's great forges. By finding and sending workers to Hornworth each year, House Highstorm became increasingly wealthy.
They fought for Robert Baratheon in his rebellion against the Iron Throne. Though House Harrigon refused to take sides during the War of the Five Kings, House Highstorm agreed to fight with Stannis Baratheon, sending 300 men to his encampments. Most of them were killed during the Battle of the Blackwater by the combined efforts of House Lannister and House Tyrell when they arrived in King's Landing.
