This article, House Highstorm, was written by Philanahembree. Please do not edit this fiction without the writer's permission.

House Highstorm of the Highridge is a noble house from the Stormlands sworn to both House Baratheon of Storm's End and House Harrigon of Smithestone. They are considered House Harrigon's most loyal vassal house behind House Farrington and House Droft. Their sigil is a blue castle atop a blue mountain on a white field, and their house words are "We See the Path".

History[]

House Highstorm is descended from bastardry, founded by Ser Urron Highstorm, the son of Ser Ronnis Storm, a bastard son of Lord Hostorren Harrigon. Having much wealth at his disposal, he was able to purchase lands in the Stormlands close to Smithestone. Being so close to Smithestone, Urron began sending wrongdoers and able bodied men to his grandfathers castle, where they were trained to work in Smithestone's great forge. By finding and sending workers to Smithestone each year, House Highstorm became increasingly wealthy.

Ser Dercin and his eldest son Wynden aided Lord Jothos Harrigon against Tyrell forces during Robert Rebellion.

Sometime before the Greyjoy Rebellion, Ser Wynden died, and Wynden became the new head of House Highstorm.

Season 2[]

Ser Wynden sends 300 men to Renly Baratheon's camp to aid him in defeating Stannis Baratheon. These men later fight for Stannis during the Battle of the Blackwater, but most are killed by the combined efforts of House Lannister and House Tyrell when they arrived in King's Landing. Only a handful of men arrive back to the Highridge.
