Ser Dorwyn Harrigon (formerly Storm) is a minor character in the sixth season of Game of Thrones. He is a knight from the Stormlands and a recently legitimised bastard son of Lord Guncor Harrigon, and the half-brother of Lord Jorthos Harrigon.
Like all Harrigons, Dorwyn is a skilled blacksmith.
History[]
Dorwyn was brought to Smithestone at a young age. Lord Guncon Harrigon remembered his mother immediately, and took note of Dorwyn's features, noticing the boy shared the same eyes. Offering to have them both housed at Smithestone, his mother claimed she needed to look after her ill father at her home village, and Dorwyn was fostered at Smithestone. His mother however never returned, and Dorwyn believed she had been killed or had contracted the same illness. Like all Harrigons and their bastard offspring, Dorwyn was trained rigorously as a blacksmith.
After a handful of years, Dorwyn decided to seek a knighthood, working knight and day to craft and forge the perfect sword. One he had made one, he left Smithestone for a handful of days to travel across the Stormlands. After a full days journey he made it to Mistwood, the seat of House Mertyns. Dorwyn asked Lord Mertyns if any of his knights were available for him to squire for. Seeing this as an opportunity to gain the Harrigons' favour, he asked Ser Jimmon Brownhill to train Dorwyn.
Season 8[]
After King Bran I Stark passes his decree known as the Glory of the Bastards, Dorwyn is immediately legitimised as a Harrigon.
