Darrin Hastor is a recurring character in the second and fourth seasons. He is the ward of Lord Hendrick Grayburn and the Captain of the Guards for House Grayburn. He has served as Lord Hendrick's ward since Robert's Rebellion, after his family was wiped out during the war.
Darrin later secretly defects to House Bolton, serving as the new Warden of the North's spy in Brightbank. He reports Lord Hendrick's secret plots against the Boltons, which leads to the Sack of Falkirk. When Hendrick discovers that Darrin is the traitor, he has him summarily executed.

Darrin Hastor was born to House Hastor, a noble house from the Riverlands who fought for House Targaryen. During Robert's Rebellion, House Hastor was wiped out by Ned Stark's forces, and he became Lord Hendrick Grayburn's ward, but ever since then, he has harbored a secret resentment against Ned Stark and anyone sworn to him, blaming them for the death of his family.
