Meaning []
Bold Lorldady is a contraction of " Bold Lord-Lady ". The song is mostly about an androgynous lady who behaves like a lord, and thus without mentioning Elena, only in the part written by Kaleb Slone in 304 AC.
Lyrics []
Brave Lorlady
Oh come oh come the maiden fair
Who walked to the stag by night
Holding in her arms, a beautiful child
But the stag ran into a fight
The maiden fair fled to the North
Her newborn in her arms
Adventures, her life was not worth
So she sighed and closed her eyes
A child who grew to be a lady
But who held her sword well
Who held her sword well,
The brave, Lorlady.
Old enough she took the Black
With the bastard she left for the Wall
She changed her name and took the oath
Against the advices of all
She fought like a man for herself
Her eyes shining by rage
Her youthfull and feminine appearance
Would vanish with the age
A lady who wanted to be a lord
And who held her sword well
Was considered to be a man
So young, the brave, Lordlady.
One day she walked, a black Lord said
" Take your clothes off "
She accepted and showed herself under his laugh
He shouted " Lay down this bed "
He threw the lady in the crowd
At the mercy of many men
She fought so well and killed a few
Thus under the pouring rain
But one day the soldiers came
And brought her back to her homeland
Where the Lord took her to bed
And took away her maidenhead
She refused to bend the knee
And fought for her only daughter
Found to be from another man
So the lord took her.
A lady who wanted to be a lord
Is brave, yound and bold
She fights so well, with no mercy
The bold Lorlady.
[Added by Kaleb]
One day she felt winter take her
She faced boldly and went to the Wall
The lorlady turned into ice
To save the North, us all
Now she walks in ice or snow
Next to the Winter King
On the hills and sorrow
The cries the world down bellow.
